Lucenda Components has now lauched a line of sign products imported from China. These products are made availaible exclusively to Sign-a-Rama stores. Our goal is to bring our experience in import and fabrication in China to the Sign-a-Rama stores. Since this line of product is offered exclusively to Sign-a-Rama it will provide a good competitve edge to the stores. Branded specification sheet are availaible on-line and Sign-a-Rama branded products is on the horizon.

It is with great pleasure that we are officially inaugurating our new building located at 900 St-José in La Prairie, QC. This building represents an investment of more than 2.2 M and is already home to 6 businesses, namely Lucenda Canada, SIGN*A*RAMA, Poulin Electrique, Pro-Flash Technologies, Pyxis International and Systèmes AI. It is more than 40 jobs for the La Prairie area. Furthermore, we would like to use this opportunity to celebrate the grand opening of the first SIGN*A*RAMA franchise in Quebec. Sign*A*Rama is the world’s largest chain of sign franchise with 850 point of sales in 46 countries. We are planning to open 30 sign stores over the next five years.

Lucenda Canada has obtained approval from Komatsu International La Prairie, Qc to produce 9 different custom fabricated welded sub-assemblies part of their new loader series. The samples were presented and accepted in accordance with their rigorous quality assurance requirements. This contract was awarded to Lucenda on April 5, 2007 in an effort by Komatsu to reduce their manufacturing cost by 25%.

The first delivery to Allianz Madvad was made today. Lucenda Canada has delivered 16 Gutter Broom Dishes on time and have passed with flying colours the strict and severe quality inspection criterias imposed by Madvac.

The first Signarama store in the province of Quebec is now opened for business. This new store will be the flagship of the chain in Quebec and will serve also as the training ground for the future franchisees. The store is located at 900 St-José in La Prairie.

Lucenda Canada, china import division, has received final sample approval from ABB to begin production of 300 6 Unit Pole Mounted Frames and 600 3 Unit Pole Mounted Frames to be delivered over the next 12 month period.

Lucenda Canada has officially moved into their new headquarters at 902 St-José, La Prairie, QC. This new state of the art facility will house the management of the 3 divisions of the company, namely realestate, china import and Signarama Master Franchising.

Lucenda Canada, china import division, was awarded a contract by Soucy Baron of St-Jérome, QC to manufacture and import high precision steel sleeves. Soucy Baron is a manufacturer of industrial and recreational equipment products and attachments.

Lucenda Canada, china import division, was awarded a contract by ABB of Quebec City, to manufacture and import Aluminum extrusion custom welded assemblies. The deliveries will follow releases based on an annual blanket order.

Lucenda Canada, china import division, has obtained a contract to supply welded fabricated components to Milquip inc. of St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, QC. Milquip is an important sub-contractor of loader structures for Komatsu. It must be noted that Lucenda had been recommended by Komatsu to Milquip and the contract was awarded in respect of the strict pricing and quality requirements of both Komatsu and Milquip.

Lucenda Canada, china import division, has secured a landmark contract with Komatsu International of La Prairie to supply several welded fabricated components for their new loader series. Lucenda was against fierce competition as the former vendor for these products was Komatsu Japan and Komatsu China. Lucenda Canada is confident that this new contract will be the first in a long line of future contracts with other Komatsu facilities and sub-contractors.

The construction of Lucenda Canada new building located at 902 St-José, La Prairie, QC has just finished in time to welcome its first tenant, Poulin Électrique inc. formerly located on Taschereau boulevard in La Prairie, Poulin Électrique is an Electrical General contractor establishing its head office in great pride into this new location.

Lucenda Canada has entered into an agreement with United Franchise Group in order to become the Master Franchisor of the SIGNARAMA franchise for the Canadian Province of Quebec and the Metropolitan area of Ottawa, the National Capital. SIGNARAMA is the world’s largest chain of sign stores with more than 850 outlets worldwide throughout 46 countries.

Lucenda Canada, china import division, has secured its first major contract with Allianz Madvac of Boucherville, QC to manufacture machined steel castings in china.. Madvac is a street sweepers and vacuums manufacturer exporting most of their finished goods in the USA. The savings made by Madvac were considerable in their effort to be more competitive in this changing economy and currency fluctuation tendency.

Ground was broken at the site and the building construction began of the new Lucenda Canada headquarters. This building (24000 sqft) will house Lucenda’s offices and warehouse needed for the china importdivision. This industrial and commercial building will also offer leasing office and warehouse space to local businesses looking to move into state of the art facilities.

Lucenda Canada has purchased a 110,000 sqft commercial building lot located on Sir Wilfrid Laurier boulevard in St-Basile Le Gramd, QC. This will be the future site of a 30,000 sqft multi tenants commercial space and will be available for leasing at the end of 2008.

This building has 12000 sqft of offices and 27000 sqft of factory floor, with 4 overhead cranes and 20 feet ceiling clearance. This building will be leased to Curtis Canada on a 10 year lease and this location will serve to contain their ever growing business and commitment to the railway industry.

Lucenda Canada has sold their 2102 Victoria, Greenfield park, QC building as part of an agreement with Curtis Canada to relocate their operation into a larger facility.

Lucenda Canada has purchased its first commercial leasing building (5000 sqft) located at 2102 Victoria, Greenfield Park, QC. This building will be leased to Curtis Canada, a passenger train door systems manufacturer in which they will establish their Canadian headquarters. This is the first realestate investment by Lucenda Canada as part of their strategic plan to build a solid pool of leasing properties to serve their customers.
